After 5 LLC
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Website: https://after5-five.vercel.app/ (and any successor domains we operate)
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how After 5 LLC ("After 5," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website or contact us through it (the "Site").
It covers Site visitors and people who send quote requests or other messages. Separate terms may apply when you become a paying client (for example, under a client agreement). If those conflict with this Policy on project data, the client agreement controls for that engagement.
2. Who is responsible
Controller / business: After 5 LLC
Privacy contact: josh.tran007@gmail.com
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
When you request a quote (including via the /contact form), email us, or otherwise contact us, we may collect:
- Name and business name
- Email address (and phone number if you provide one)
- Website URL, project path, services of interest, budget range, and message / brief details
- Files or links you choose to send (brand assets, existing site URLs, references)
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our hosting provider may automatically collect:
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, referring URL, timestamps, and basic usage/diagnostic data
- Cookies or similar technologies used for hosting, security, and performance
Confirmed processors (as of September 5, 2026 inventory):
- Vercel — hosts the Site and may process standard request/hosting logs needed to operate and secure it. Vercel Web Analytics is not enabled (public
/_vercel/insights/script.jsreturns 404; no@vercel/analyticsin the app). Speed Insights is not integrated in the app (no@vercel/speed-insightsdependency or layout mount; no client markers in the shipped HTML/chunks). - Resend — when you submit the quote form on
/contact, a Next.js server action sends your inquiry by email (fields may include name, email, business, website, path, services, budget, and message). Your email may be used as the reply-to address so we can respond. - Email / mailto fallback — the Site also exposes a public contact email (
josh.tran007@gmail.com) for direct mail.
Not in use today: Google Analytics, Plausible, other third-party analytics products, advertising pixels, chat widgets, CRM platforms, or newsletter tools.
We do not sell personal information.
3.3 Information we do not intentionally collect
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, or government IDs through the Site. Do not send sensitive personal data (health, precise geolocation, etc.) in a quote form. Payment for projects is handled under separate client arrangements, not through this Site's marketing forms unless we clearly say otherwise later.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and prepare quotes or proposals
- Communicate about potential or ongoing work
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Site
- Maintain records needed for business operations and legal compliance
- Enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights and users
We do not use Site inquiry content for public marketing without your permission (portfolio and case studies are handled in client agreements).
5. How we share information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers who help us run the Site and communications — currently Vercel (hosting) and Resend (quote-form email delivery) — under obligations to use the data only for their services to us
- Professional advisors (attorney, accountant) when needed
- Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security
- A buyer or successor if After 5 LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, subject to appropriate protections
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws. If that ever changes, we will update this Policy and provide required opt-outs.
We treat client briefs and business details as confidential and do not share them publicly or with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies or local storage that are strictly necessary for the Site to function and stay secure (including what our host sets for delivery and security).
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or marketing pixels. We do not load Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights, Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar client analytics in the app today. If we add analytics or advertising technologies later, we will update this Policy and add a consent mechanism where required.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect Site features.
7. Retention
We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as needed to respond, manage a potential or actual engagement, meet legal/accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Technical logs are kept for a shorter operational period unless needed for security or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete inquiry data; we will do so unless we must retain it (for example, an active contract, legal hold, or required records).
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small studio (access controls, reputable hosting, careful handling of briefs). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please avoid sending passwords or highly sensitive secrets through website forms.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion
- Obtain a portable copy of information you provided
- Opt out of certain processing (including "sale" or "sharing" for advertising, if we ever engage in it)
- Appeal a denial of a consumer rights request (where state law requires)
To exercise rights: email josh.tran007@gmail.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line and enough detail for us to verify and respond. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights available under law.
California / other U.S. state residents: We collect identifiers (such as name, email, IP), commercial information related to project inquiries, and internet activity on our Site, as described above, for the business purposes listed in Section 4. We do not sell personal information. Categories of third parties are described in Section 5.
EEA / UK visitors: If you access the Site from the EEA or UK, our processing of Site data is generally based on legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site, responding to voluntary inquiries) or your consent where required. You may have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
10. Children
The Site is directed to business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 (or under 13 where that is the applicable standard). If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International users
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S., where laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Third-party links
The Site may link to other sites (including client examples). Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before providing information to them.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version on the Site and changing the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
